Lisa Barras, LPC LIAC CCTP

Lisa Barras is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

Lisa is a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) counselor and Approved Consultant through EMDRIA.

Lisa has spent her career focusing on helping others manage their symptoms of distress and trauma. She began work in helping others manage impulse control issues like eating disorders and substance use disorders. She also has experience in understanding the difficult dynamic of fertility issues and TFMR. In her work, she identified a common theme of trauma and focused her work on helping others heal from distressing experiences.

Lisa utilizes a combination of EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you move forward and overcome difficult life experiences.

Amanda Monaghan, LMSW

Amanda is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Her goal is to guide each client utilizing an individualized treatment plan to assist in reaching their goals. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

Amanda has worked with a diverse population of individuals with various presenting issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mood-disorders, and trauma.

Amanda is passionate about encouraging others to work towards healing and having love for oneself. Amanda’s priority is to hold a safe and positive environment for clients to reach their desired outcomes.

Allie McKay

Allie is a graduate student at Arizona State University, pursuing a master’s degree in counseling. With 11 years of experience in social work, she has primarily supported children and families through therapeutic home visitation focused on strengthening parent-child relationships with a trauma-informed lens. She also holds a master’s degree in Infant and Family Practice, specializing in trauma’s impact on child development and parent-child relationships.

Her experience with diverse populations across various ethnic groups, sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, religions, and ages has shaped her trauma-informed approach to counseling. Allie uses an attachment lens to help clients explore how childhood experiences affect their current functioning and relationships. She integrates DBT and Gestalt frameworks to help clients process emotions and sensations, fostering self-acceptance and empowerment.

Allie is accepting new patients for a low private pay fee.
